The Art Education and Outreach Committee of the Hammond Regional Arts Center is introducing the expansion of its program to teens and adults. Introducing “Z Arts”, these new classes will offer a multitude of visual arts classes for teens and adults. Visit the Hammond Regional Arts Center and create unique art projects with qualified art educators as we present Z Arts, a monthly art program for children, teens and adults. Check out our monthly sessions, and take a fantastic piece of art home with you. 

KidZart is for students ages 6-13. TeenZart is for students ages 13-18. AdultZarts is for students ages 18+.

These programs are held one Saturday a month at HRAC, located at 217 East Thomas St. in Hammond from with KidZart starting at 10 a.m. to noon, TeenZart and AdultZart starting from 1-3 p.m.

Pricing is as follows:


$10 admission price for HRAC members; $15 for non-HRAC members.

TeenZart & AdultZart

$20 admission price for HRAC members; $25 for non-HRAC members.


Pre-registration is suggested but walk-ins are welcome.

Pre-registration and payment can be completed at the Hammond Regional Arts Center, which is open Wednesday-Friday from noon-6 p.m. Please make checks out to Hammond Regional Arts Center, adding KidZart under memo. To pay by credit card, please use the provided link above or call the Arts Center directly at 985-542-7113 for instructions. Fees from classes goes towards class supplies and furthering the mission of the Hammond Regional Arts Center's education outreach programming.
